We aim to undertake most types of general shotgun repairs and rifle repairs ‘in-house’, working to sensible timescales to ensure you are without your gun for as short a time as possible. Most common repairs can be turned around within 7 days. Estimates of costs and time are given in all cases and emergency repairs are handled as quickly as possible. Gun hire may be available in certain circumstances.

Barrel and woodwork repairs

As well as the obvious repairs needed to make your gun function, it is important to have barrels and woodwork checked and repaired as soon as possible to prevent further damage. Common shotgun repairs and rifle repairs include:

• Removal of rust and pitting
• Choke modification – opening up or fitting teague chokes
• Pinning of stock and forend cracks

We will give you an honest opinion as to whether an old, well used gun is still serviceable, and give you an estimate for the repairs required to submit it for ‘Re-Proof’.
